Virginia Creeper (Parthenocissus quinquefolia)

Virginia creeper climbs the brick retaining wall that runs between Mickle Hall and Hamilton Hall.

In late August, the vines are heavy with clusters of blue berries that may look enciting, but be careful!

According to the United States Department of Agriculture, these berries are "highly toxic to humans."
The berries are small, measuring approximately a quarter of an inch wide.
