We have good news. The wax myrtles are rebounding from the winter storm damage they sustained in mid-February. Just in time for the first day of spring!
On February 23rd, all of the wax myrtles were turning brown. It was disconcerting to see both large and small shrubs uniformly lose their waxy-green coloration. |
On March 20th, we see that the wax myrtles retained their damaged, discolored leaves, and at the top we see fresh green growth. |
