Beginning on January the 21st, Caddo Parish began to experience a major winter rain storm. This followed on the heels of many days of very cold weather in the teens and twenties, so we are having our fill of "extreme weather." Five inches of rain (10% of our estimated yearly total) over three days is so uncommon that it deserves to be documented in person. The above video demonstrated some of the hydrological elements of the Arboretum when pushed to their furthest extent.
